OPT OUT
of
PISS

Opt-out programs screw people over. I hate them, and think that they are strong indicators of arrogance, greed, and general crappiness in those who profit by giving us some invasive, damaging "service" unless we manage to find out about it.

Opt-out programs screw people over. So naturally, I have an opt-out program for my Pathetic Initiative to Stop Spam.

If your e-mail address is (wrongly) included in my list, contact me (roy@asomethingiknownotwhat.com) and say so. I will remove you from the list.

Note that I may have evidence stored which indicates that I did, in fact, receive spam from your address. In which case I will not remove you from the list. Rather, I will call you bad names.

Much like Doubleclick's, my opt-out program has some technological limitations. So if I receive spam from an address after it has opted out, it will be added to the list again.

Aren't I generous, giving (a few of) you the chance to (sort of) decide for yourself whether you want to participate?
